How to navigate a water order rejection

Updated over a week ago

Understanding order rejection

Orders may be rejected by your city for a variety of reasons. Those might be things like:

  • The city may need additional information and/or documents from you.

  • You may have an outstanding balance in your name.

  • You may have a duplicate order and one is being rejected.

  • Your address (or other information) may be incorrect.

  • Your address or condo may be master metered.

Steps to take when my order has been rejected

  1. Check your email

When your order is rejected, your city will send you an email explaining the reason through 2TurnItOn. This email often provides specific details and next steps, as well as your contacts at the city.

  2. Review your order details

Ensure all information provided during the order process is correct. This includes verifying addresses, names, payment information, and products.

  3. Contact your city

One your order has been processed with your city, the water utilities department is best positioned to handle your case. We have included a handy guide for how to contact your city here.

  4. Contact 2TurnItOn support

While our ability to assist with orders after they've been submitted is limited, we're here to lend a hand. You can reach us at [email protected] or by live chat (available on this page and on our website).
